Imagine Prince Paul, DJ Shadow, Young Einstein and Jake One on a quest to snag late night burritos in the heart of Little Italy.
Craton probably sounds nothing like that how that night would play out, but it is forever indebted to those artists. Also burritos. Less so Italians (no offense!).
Craton takes like 60+ vinyl records and condenses them into about 20 minutes of music. It represents a desire to do something weird but familiar with sample-based beatmaking.
This is the first solo project from hiphop guy, Deacon LF. His past releases include doing all the beats for Paleo Future with Mandeep Sethi, The Purple Lighter with Paul B and The Woods with Cyberclops and K.E.V.O.R.K.I.A.N.
